Adding a New Entry to the Noticeboard

You may add notices to the noticeboard so that other website visitors may see them. Please bear in mind the following points...

• You may add almost any sort of announcement but it should be connected with the island. Announcements of Births, Deaths, Marriages and so on are acceptable.
• If your notice is one that you want a response to, then make sure you give a method for responding. You can do this by adding a telephone number somewhere in the description field, or by putting your email address in the Email field, or perhaps a web address in the URL field.
• If you add a URL, make sure you put "http://" at the start. In other words enter "http://www.mywebaddress.co.uk" and not just "www.mywebaddress.co.uk" as this will produce an faulty link that won't work.
• The fields for URL and Email are optional and can be left empty.
• Any notices which contain anything rude or unsuitable for a family-friendly website will not appear. All notices are checked before appearing on the noticeboard.
